Rocio Cruz-Olivera, M.A., LPC, ACS
Rocio Cruz-Olivera is a Staff Psychotherapist at Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). Rocio earned her bachelor’s degree from the College of Saint Elizabeth and later completed her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with a certification in School Counseling. She holds an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) certification and Complex trauma certification.
Rocio brings clinical experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma and who are navigating concerns related to PTSD, depression, anxiety, and life transitions. As a first-generation college graduate, she understands the unique experiences that can accompany navigating higher education and strives to create a welcoming, supportive, and culturally responsive space where students feel heard and understood.
Rocio's approach is collaborative and grounded in meeting students where they are while helping them develop the skills and confidence to navigate their personal and academic journeys.
Rocio is fluent in English and Spanish languages.
