Stevens’ Electrical and Computer Engineering Programs Move Up to Rankings of 75th and 79th, According to U.S. News & World Report
Newest rankings place the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering as a national leader, with the electrical engineering program jumping up 10 places, and the computer engineering program jumping up four
U.S. News & World Report recently announced rankings for graduate engineering schools, recognizing the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) with high rankings. Stevens’ electrical engineering program is now ranked 75th, moving up 10 places, and the computer engineering program is ranked 79th, moving up four places. These recognitions reflect ECE’s continuing commitment to teaching and research excellence.
“Electrical and computer engineering are fast-evolving fields that continuously shape the future of modern society,” said Min Song, professor and chair of the department. “The department offers rigorous education and research programs that foster strong research environments to inspire and educate the next generation of technology leaders and to discover and advance knowledge and technology.”
Stevens’ Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering has 25 full-time faculty members, including one National Academy of Engineering member, seven IEEE Fellows, three National Academy of Inventors Fellows, and eight NSF CAREER recipients. They are world-class scholars in their respective fields.
